“The blue wind came straight from the open doors and as I stepped through, I felt my bones being crushed into a new shape, under the icy waters of the missing ocean above. Silent, past ghostly waves, the current brought me to the surface and I no longer was human. I spread my wings and took to the sky, for through the sun laid my path to Paradise.”
lyrics
“No, you don’t deserve good things happening,
you don’t even know what is moral anymore.
I’m blaming your soul!
High, you’re not alive,
this is everything engraved in your smile.
Or I’En told me
you wish to gather the burning flames of the sun.
You will have them all,
but one.”
“Rising horizon is dead”
might be words in my head,
I don’t care if the seagulls ever return,
Horizon, ending become!
Colorize, colorize...
All the nights were passing by,
colorizing memories tonight.
Colorize, colorize...
I should have known it was snowing
ashes in the white of my eye.
I know it shouldn’t be snowing
ashes until I die.
Carry on flooding my eyes,
carrion feeding the flies.
I say my prayers to the morning’s dawn,
the sun will never begin.
These flies are making me dream.
These flies are making me dream.
Colorize, colorize, colorize...
“No you don’t deserve good things happening,
you don’t even know what is moral anymore.
I’m taking your form!
Now you’re not allowed
to be anything apart from a human.
Cursed be forever!
“Rising horizon is dead”
might be words in my head,
I don’t care if the seagulls ever return,
Horizon, ending become!
“Rising horizon is dead”
might be words in my head,
I don’t care if the seagulls ever return,
Horizon, ending we are!
“Rising horizon is dead”
might be words in my head,
I don’t care if the seagulls ever return,
Horizon, ending we are!
The first time I heard the older but nevertheless wonderful album "The Portal of I" and later the 23 minutes lasting epicness of Painters of the Tempest that on it's own makes Citadel the greatest of the three very nice albums of this band, I was in love with the complex and wellwritten songstructures. I am waiting for the follow-up of Urn..... grote_smurf
